NCIS: LA: What happened to Hetty in Syria? Where is she?

Henrietta “Hetty” Lange, played by Linda Hunt, is the current operations manager at the Office of Special Projects in Los Angeles, California. She is also in charge of the Backroom Support Team, which is in charge of providing anything the Agents might need, including cars and tiny surveillance cameras. Only one issue remains: whether Hetty returns. Here are we (tvacute.com) to explain everything.

Prepare for Season 14 Episode 1 of NCIS: Los Angeles: Unexpected wedding planning.

IN SYRIA, WHAT HAPPENED TO HETTY?

Special Agent G. Callen (Chris O’Donnell) contacts Anna for advice on “All the Little Things.” The good news is that Hetty is not found by Zasha among the wounded or the deceased. Most likely, her target and his agents did as well. She might have called the strike herself, and Callen (and later Admiral Kilbride played by Gerald McRaney and Nate Getz played by Peter Cambor) would not have been surprised.

Kilbride and Callen both learn a little more about Hetty’s activities in their respective conversations with Al-Qaeda leaders. He hasn’t heard from Callen in a few days and has no way to contact her. Hetty’s “people,” possibly NCIS.

IS IT POSSIBLE THAT HETTY LANGE WOULD D1E?

Start with the scenario that seems to be the least likely and darkest. Would Hetty Lange be m******d in NCIS: Los Angeles? It’s hard to fathom, especially considering the present arc.

HETTY LANGE ESCAPED TO THE GROUND AFTER BREAKING FREE.

Hetty might have acted alone to defy the al-Qaeda leaders and is now with them elsewhere, while still attempting to free the hostages, as we wouldn’t be surprised if Callen, Kilbride, and Nate were absent.

IS IT POSSIBLE THAT AL-KALMIRA KIDNAPPED HETTY?

Hetty is assumed to have been absent when the drone struck. However, in the midst of the turmoil, we cannot help but worry that something went wrong with her plan. She might have been captured by al-Kalmira, one of his men, or another Al-Qaeda leader who exploited the situation. She might have agreed to be taken in order to reach her people.

As NCIS: Los Angeles Season 14, showrunner R Scott Gemmill’s recent statements about Hetty’s future on the program may provide some comfort to viewers. His remarks to TV Line that “the idea is to go and rescue her at some time, find out what she’s gotten herself into.”
