What Happened To Kensi In NCIS LA?

NCIS: Los Angles in the 11th season but series eight was the strongest by far for Kensi and Marty Deeks (Eric Christian Olsen). While the second episode, Belly of the Beast, the team travels to Syria to catch a terrorist, but their mission is aborted when their airplane is shot down.

Due to being shot down, Kensi gets stuck inside the nose of the plane and goes into a coma. Following the incident, she is diagnosed with a severe spinal injury which means there’s a limited chance of recovery, but it is not the end. In episode 14, Under Siege, Kensi is kidnapped by a man she met in physical therapy.

The kidnapper was CIA officer Ferris, who introduced himself as Sullivan (Kurt Yaeger) to Kensi. It seems to me he was seeking revenge as she was the one who shot off his leg while she was a sniper in Afghanistan. After the kidnap, Kensi pleases, but he refuses to listen to her for long. Finally, at the end of episode 14, she cries as he goes to her with an electric saw as he intends to return the favor.

However finally, she knocks him down, but the pair are fighting on the ground with a saw still in his hand. Hopefully, the team can locate them, and Deeks storms in and shoots Sullivan in the head. He carries her out of the house, relieved she is alright, and admits he was scared.
