NCIS season 20 episode 9 release date: When will Higher Education air?

NCIS has seen a number of changes since 2003 and most recently, the departure of veteran agent Leroy Gibbs (played by Mark Harmon). Nevertheless, the show must go on and the team haven’t stopped working on head-scratching investigations while juggling their own personal dilemmas. Following the dramatics of episode eight last week, fans are eager for more from the CBS police procedural.

Higher Education won’t come out in its usual timeslot as expected as NCIS takes a break from the small screen.

The police procedural isn’t the only show not to air this week either as its spin-off NCIS Hawaii won’t be returning for its own ninth instalment.

CBS hasn’t officially given an explanation for the schedule shake-up for both of the shows.

It is most likely that the dramas are simply taking a brief break which popular US shows often do.

There is no need to worry though as there won’t be too long to wait before the return of NCIS.

Season 20’s ninth episode is instead going to air the following week on Monday, December 5.

This will also be the case for NCIS Hawaii with its next instalment, Desperate Measures, coming out straight after.

When NCIS does return, a familiar face will also be welcomed back, much to fans’ delight.

The team will be tasked with looking into the d3ath of a college student who was killed while running across the street.

Their victim has connections with none other than Agent Timothy McGee’s (Sean Murray) wife, Delilah McGee (Margo Harshman).

But how does she know the victim and could she help the agents with cracking the case?

Apart from NCIS, actress Harshman is known for playing Tawny Dean in Even Stevens and Sheldon Cooper’s (Jim Parsons) assistant Alex Jensen in The Big Bang Theory.
