Perrette made her movie debut in 1996 with “The Price of Kissing” and went on to feature in notable films like “Almost Famous,” “The Ring,” “Brother Bear,” and “The Singularity is Near.” Her voice also graced animated gems such as “Superman vs. The Elite” and “Scooby-Doo: Stage Fright.”
NCIS Breakthrough and Controversial Exit:
However, it was in 2003 that Perrette landed the role that would define her career – Abby Sciuto in NCIS. Her quirky character quickly became a fan favorite, transcending to spin-offs in Los Angeles and New Orleans. After a remarkable 15-season run, Perrette bid farewell to NCIS in 2018, citing personal reasons.
Behind the scenes, a feud between Perrette and co-star Mark Harmon, who played Leroy Jethro Gibbs, had been growing since 2016.
